I had a moustache and thick hairs on my cheeks and chin. I felt down all the time and had to shave every morning before I went to school. My aunt recommended that I see a doctor and receive help with my condition. The doctor got me an appointment at ’Karolinska Hospital’ where I was diagnosed. I received a medical letter of referral and was given a list of different clinics I could go to. I made a phone call to Leilas Hudvårdsklinik, Leila was very sympathetic on the phone and understood my situation very well. At the beginning of my treatment I went for two sessions/week but after a few months I only needed one session/week. The first few months of undertaking treatment were difficult as I had to let my hairs grow out and cover my face, but it was definitely worth it as I was soon becoming hair-free which was a great relief! I am very pleased with my face and I feel more confident now thanks to Leila.
